Green Laser Pointer
There are literally thousands of different types of laser pointers out there and they come in a variety of different colors and output powers. From green, red, yellow, purple, blue and even infrared it can be difficult to choose a laser that is suited for what you need and is up to date with the most current technology. Green pointers and red lasers are the most common out there today, being used for a number of different reasons and actually quite cheap in pricing as the tools have been around for some time. More companies produce these lasers then ever before so that keeps the cost down, but also puts some shoddy lasers out into the market so its important to be careful before you buy anything.
First, look on google and search for the laser pointer you want the most, as far as color and power. Browse the options and take note of any models that particularly catch your eye, take a price comparison now and see if the lasers are being sold in more than just one place. Next you want to see what type of warranties are offered, cheaper 473nm blue lasers can burn out or work improperly and you don't want to get 'beaten' on a laser. A reputable company will have a warranty and a working support network to answer any questions you have or provide customer service if you are a client of theirs, so you can test them but really what you see is what you get.
Don't go with some cheap looking website or ebay account that quite frankly will not have good lasers to offer you and really just lacks professionalism. You want to buy your laser from a real company who does a high volume of sales, not some 35 year old living in his grandmothers basement with an ebay account and a few modded lasers, its just not worth it. So take your time on this and really do a few minutes of research, it won't take you long and can save you the headache of a bad laser purchase when there are some really cool laser gadgets out there to look for. All in all, you want to be careful with a blue laser pointer as they can be a bit more expensive, but they are definitely the coolest laser color around and really quite exclusive still. So if you're looking to impress, a blue laser is a must have for any occasion.
